The key to a good holiday is the people around you. At Christchurch we have a great team of people who are all determined to make sure that you enjoy every moment of your camping break with us. The team that you will meet during your stay are:

Gavin - General Manager

Gavin came to our Christchurch site from a background in hotel management and he is now very much at home in his Forest of Dean surroundings. He is also a big rugby fan.

Chris – Ranger

Chris organises and runs our ranger activities here at Christchurch – from learning forest survival skills to heading out after dark to spot the animals. When not fulfilling his ranger duties, he loves walking with his dogs and eating chocolate.

Jess – Retail Manager

Jess is Christchurch’s retail manager and looks after our cafe and Forest Retreat. Jess loves going out for a meal and says she is a big pudding fan!

Derry – Forest Retreat site assistant

You will find Derry within our Forest Retreat here at Christchurch, where you can pick up all your camping essentials, or have a drink with us in the coffee shop. Derry enjoys keeping active and lists bungee jumping and a visit to Go Ape! as part of his perfect day.

Ben – Site Manager

Ben is new to Christchurch and is looking forward to exploring the forests surrounding our beautiful campsite. He will be on-hand to help with any issues you may have, so please feel free to ask him if you need anything!

 

Tom – Maintenance

Tom is in charge of site maintenance, so if you have any issues of this nature during your stay then do feel free to approach him. Another big adventure fan, bunjee jumping and a visit to Alton Towers would form part of his ideal day.

 

Cathy – Forest Retreat site assistant

Cathy is looking forwards to welcoming you into our Forest retreat, where she will make you feel right at home. She enjoys working within a forest environment, but says she prefers cats to some of the creepy crawlies living there!

Sarah – Forest Retreat site assistant

Sarah’s is another friendly face that will welcome you into Christchurch’s Forest Retreat. When she isn’t onsite Sarah spends her spare time as a ballet teacher.

 

Hannah - Forest Retreat site assistant

Hannah is a member of our Forest Retreat staff, and confesses to be addicted to her phone. Hannah enjoys sharing her social skills with our guests and will be happy to share stories of her time working within the forests.

 

 

Kerrie - Forest Retreat site assistant

Kerrie has recently graduated and enjoys working within the hospitality industry. Prior to joining us here at Christchurch, Kerrie spent time on a student placement in Disneyworld, Florida, where she says the weather was somewhat warmer!

 

Will - Forest Retreat site assistant

Will has joined our Christchurch team until July as part of a year’s work placement during his finance degree. He is enjoying helping out within our Forest Retreat where he gets to meet our guests and help them make the most of their holiday with us.
