The natural wonders of the forest are yours to discover!
Throughout the summer months, at selected Camping in the Forest sites, our knowledgeable Forest Rangers are on hand to show all the family the wonders of the forest and the secretive creatures that live there.
Imagine wearing a pair of night vision glasses to reveal shy, nocturnal creatures you would never normally see, or heading out deer spotting in beautiful open glades. Picture yourself building a shelter, foraging for food, or scouring the forest floor for natural treasures to create your very own work of art.
With fun activities ranging from forest survival and orienteering, to ‘Dusk Watch’, ‘Night Vision’, biking and hiking, our Rangers will educate, inform and teach you about the forest and its creatures, helping you understand the workings of this unique and fascinating environment.
