Camping in the Forest has four different types of pitches, each with different facilities.  Please be aware that Premium, Select and Select Plus pitches are not available at all Caravan and Camping Sites.

Standard pitch

An undefined 8m x 5m pitch on which to put your tent, caravan or motorhome and space for one car.  Two adults are also included in the price.

There is also space for one of the following:
A single awning
A toilet tent
A small trailer

Premium pitch

A Premium pitch is similar to a Standard pitch, but also includes electric hook-up and/or hardstanding.A Premium pitch is priced as a Standard pitch plus £5.00 per night.

Select pitch

A Select pitch is similar to a Premium pitch but also includes a larger pitch, plus a picnic table.A Select pitch is priced as a Standard pitch plus £7.50 per night.

Select Plus pitch

A Select Plus pitch is similar to a Select pitch but also includes water and waste drainage. A Select Plus pitch is priced as a Standard pitch, plus £10.50 per night.

XL Pitch

If your unit is larger than 5m x 8m (including tent guy ropes) you will need to book an XL pitch in addition to your Standard, Premium, Select or Select Plus Pitch at a suppliment of £3.00 to £12.00 per night. Please be aware that certain sites cannot accept XL caravans or motorhomes.
