Which route will you choose?
Will it be the red route? Tour the wild northwest of the New Forest as the open top bus meanders through fragrant heaths and scattered woodland of the National Park. Stop off at the storybook village of Burley and the historic towns of Ringwood and Fordingbridge, home to a magnificent medieval bridge with its seven graceful arches.
Fordingbridge is described as the northern gateway to the New Forest and sits majestically on the banks of the River Avon. It’s a great place to explore and enjoy leisurely, riverside strolls. Pure bliss.
How about the blue route? Cruise around the coastal southwest of the New Forest National Park and savour stunning sea views. The blue route is your gateway to breathtaking beaches at Barton-on-Sea - a classic rock and shingle scene - and Milford-on-Sea - a pristine, pebbled beach.
You will pass through Lymington and Brockenhurst on route. Brockenhurst boasts the largest village population within the New Forest, and is the perfect place for a pit stop at some of the village’s traditional pubs.
You can visit the museum at Sammy Miller and enjoy a ferry ride to Hurst Castle, where you can enjoy spectacular sea views, and on a clear day, you can get a glimpse of the Isle of Wight.
What about the Green Route? Soak in the serenity of the beautiful southeast region of the New Forest National Park. Explore the charming surroundings as you arrive at Beaulieu, home to an historic abbey, Palace House, the National Motor Museum and Exbury Gardens with its Steam Railway.
Fun for all ages, the 12 ¼” railway journeys through 1 ½ miles of gorgeous gardens, treating you to an explosion of colour and beautiful floral displays. There are plenty of woodland creatures to discover too.
The New Forest Tour Bus offers an incredible adventure, and is great for explorers wanting to experience the sights and sounds that the New Forest National Park has to offer. It’s an unmissable activity that makes for an awesome day out discovering new places and even more adventures!
