Hollands Wood is the perfect retreat for both mind and body. Celebrity broadcaster and environmental campaigner David Bellamy described this site as one of his 'Paradise parks'. Set amongst 22 hectares of beautiful oak woodland - the ideal backdrop for relaxation or an action-packed break - you can see why. Visit once, and you'll want to come back again and again.

It's not easy to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Finding the time and the place to 'get away from it all' is a challenge for each of us. This is where Hollands Wood steps in; to help you disconnect, step back and take a deep breath of fresh air - a spa for the mind and body.

Giant oak trees surround the pitches at Hollands Wood, sunlight pierces the canopy, and rich green hues colour the landscape as far as the eye can see. With the natural features of the land still in place, pitches weave through the treelines, amongst the ferns and into slightly more open land, giving plenty of camping options.

Stay at our Hollands Wood campsite, and you’ll find out what peace and quiet really means. Surround yourself with green space and relax in one of Hampshire’s, if not the UK’s, most serene places, complete with ancient woodland and historic New Forest ponies roaming freely.

When you’re done resting, take off into the forest surrounding the site. Go by bike or on foot and enjoy the 143 miles of way-marked routes running throughout the glorious woodlands.

Nearby villages include the beautiful Brockenhurst with its abundance of restaurants, pubs and shops. The expansive picnic site at Balmer Lawn, next to the Lymington River, is a popular choice for both visitors and residents, and has provided an idyllic setting for countryside lunches for many years.

With its friendly, welcoming atmosphere, Hollands Wood is perfect for all campers. It's the place to surround yourself with the incredible oaks and green space of the New Forest, the place to temporarily turn your back on the outside world – go on, book with us today!

Any barbecues used on our sites should be specifically designed and used only for the purpose of cooking food (i.e. not firepits). They should be robust, secure and able to be raised off of the forest floor, there should be no damage or marks left on the ground where they have been used. In support of the New Forest Action Plan, we are asking campers not to bring disposable barbecues for their stay. We are also reminding campers that outside of our sites, no barbecues of any kind are now allowed anywhere in the New Forest.

Please do not feed, pet or approach the animals in and around the campsite; they may look friendly but are unpredictable and can bite and kick. Please keep all food sealed and out of reach of the ponies

A nice change of pace
We came down to Hollands Wood again as it is such a lovely place to stay, it's so easy to get to and very conveniently close to Beaulieu Motor Museum, one of the reasons we were there was the Autojumble at Beaulieu, I was also able to make a journey up to Weston Super Mare for a day out so that was an added bonus, the woods are so well looked after and it's always a nice place to be, so relaxing, the facilities are decent and well kept too, there's plenty to do and visit in the area, so if your thinking of your next caravan holiday look at Hollands Wood, you wont be disappointed.

Relaxed Site
We enjoyed a last minute booking at Holland’s wood campsite recently. Friendly & helpful wardens, relaxed style campsite within walking distance of Brockenhurst. We did the Brockenhurst park Run on the Saturday, several walks from the site and an NGS garden to visit was a bonus.
Unit Type: Camper Van
We (2 adults ,1 dog)usually visit Holland's Wood twice a year. This was our first stay since covid. The booking process was easy, and as usual we had a fantastic stay .The pitches were neat and tidy.the washrooms immaculate and the staff very friendly. We will be booking another stay later in the year.
Unit Type: Tent
Wonderfully located site with bathroom/cleaning facilities that were brilliantly clean. Trees on site gave options for more or less sheltered/shaded camping. Having pubs such as The snake Catcher and the huntsman in walking distance (brockenhurst) were great for after sunny walks

Enjoyed my first stay in this site - being jn the woods is very nice. Well kept site with friendly staff. Will visit again.

Nice but very expensive
Lovely site but I didn't appreciate being asked to pay an additional £3 charge as I arrived early. This is on top of the £47.80 for two nights with a small tent (one man) and a bicycle. My friend who arrived in a car early was also asked to pay the £3 additional charge, so it's clear there no differentiation between driving a polluting vehicle and me using public transport and a bicycle. I suggest that the management take a look at the French model where the charges are reduced if you travel by bicycle or walk. So much for sustainability, or is it just about charging as much as possible, I'll leave you to decice.

Excellent campsite.
Met on arrival by very pleasant wardens, checked in and went off to choose our pitch. Found a lovely spot part shade, part open looking across the open space where ponies were grazing. The site was immaculate and very peaceful. Walked into Brockenhurst which was a level walk but did entail crossing a busy road. Lovely little village. Would definitely recommend and would happily return.

Lovely peaceful holiday
Staying at Hollands Wood was an absolute pleasure and we were blessed with 5 days of sunshine. Facilities clean and basic. We found some new walks which were beautiful and went on the train to Lymington which is within walking distance.

A little piece of heaven
With plenty of space amongst the trees and ponies roaming freely, this is a peaceful and beautiful spot. Clean and smart facilities make everything easy but because the site is so big you can forget they exist if you have your own. Friendly staff provide a warm welcome . Thank you for a lovely stay
