Hollands Wood is the perfect retreat for both mind and body. Celebrity broadcaster and environmental campaigner David Bellamy described this site as one of his 'Paradise parks'. Set amongst 22 hectares of beautiful oak woodland - the ideal backdrop for relaxation or an action-packed break - you can see why. Visit once and you'll want to come back again and again.

It's not easy to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Finding the time and the place to 'get away from it all' is a challenge for each of us. This is where Hollands Wood steps in; to help you disconnect, step back and take a deep breath of fresh air - a spa for the mind and body.

Giant oak trees surround the pitches at Hollands Wood, sunlight pierces the canopy, and rich green hues colour the landscape as far as the eye can see. With the natural features of the land still in place, pitches weave through the treelines, amongst the ferns and into slightly more open land, giving plenty of camping options.

Stay at our Hollands Wood campsite and you’ll find out what peace and quiet really means. Surround yourself with green space and relax in one of Hampshire’s, if not the UK’s, most serene places, complete with ancient woodland and historic New Forest ponies roaming freely.

When you’re done resting take off into the forest surrounding the site. Go by bike or on foot and enjoy the 143 miles of track and paths running throughout the glorious woodlands.

Nearby villages include the beautiful Brockenhurst with its abundance of restaurants, pubs and shops. The expansive picnic site at Balmer Lawn, next to the Lymington River, is a popular choice for both visitors and residents, and has provided an idyllic setting for countryside lunches for many years.

With its friendly, welcoming atmosphere, Hollands Wood is perfect for all campers. It's the place to surround yourself with the incredible oaks and green space of the New Forest, the place to temporarily turn your back on the outside world – go on, book with us today!

Regrettably organised thieves are known to operate in the new forest area, which is an open and unfenced environment. High value bicycles left outside units in particular are targeted. Please be aware and make your own informed choices regarding security arrangements for your property.

Great facilities, spacious and sheltered
/
Lovely stay at Hollands Wood Campsite. There was plenty of space to camp and felt like we had our own space. Was quite idyllic in the middle of the forest and horses and ponies were really close by. Hot, clean showers and plenty of space to wash up.
Unit Type: Tent
Nice friendly site but
/
Most of the time had a lovely pleasant stay at Holland’s wood it’s just spoiled by people parking in the road next to there tent and letting there kids run around other people’s tents tripping over there guy ropes and dogs running around off there leads .nothing is done about it , staff are walking around taking no notice , god forbid what would happen if an ambulance was delayed because someone with no thought for others was parked in the road

Our first time...

Our first RV trip made very easy by the super facilities on this site. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent toilet blocks and facilities which were super clean and in good order. Close to local village, shops and cafe's.

Lovely stay

Haven’t been back for 2 years but we’ll worth the wait. Great welcome. Amenities spotless. Yes you are camped by a main road but it doesn’t impact on the stay at all. Great being able to camp amping trees and shrubbery so you can feel secluded. Definitely recommend. And a nice gentle stroll into town.
Unit Type: RV Motorhome
Great campsite – beware bike thieves
/
Have been here three times now. It's a great spot, really clean and well looked after, friendly team. Just don't take your bike. Mine was stolen despite being locked to another bike AND my car with two heavy duty locks.
Unit Type: Camper Van
Very Nice Site.
/
We had a great time over the bank holiday weekend for Easter. The weather was great which meant the site was almost full when we arrived, but because of the way you can pitch anywhere among the trees we still found a nice, spacious spot between the trees. The toilets and showers were clean although my wife said the girls ones water was cold. But we had a nice holiday there.

Lovely site.
/
Lovely site. We visited over the easer weekend and it was busy, but the facilities were well maintained and clean. Short walk into the village with plenty on amenities. Road noise: ever present but manageable if you're easy going Ponies: ever present and unmanageable.......

5 Wonderful Easter nights
/
Renewed our time at Hollands Wood after a number of years away from caravanning. An excellent site for freedom, relaxation, ponies and many friendly campers around. Easy to cycle from, site is great for novice young cyclists, food shops not far away and location central for many things. Staff are always helpful. Toilets and showers are in blocks, are well maintained and really clean. The site was nearly full for 4 nights then almost empty after Easter Monday, neither presented an issue for toilet and shower usage. There are no Electric hook ups which is great for us, some people have large solar panels. Have booked for 18 nights in July and August.
