Hollands Wood is the perfect retreat for both mind and body. Celebrity broadcaster and environmental campaigner David Bellamy described this site as one of his 'Paradise parks'. Set amongst 22 hectares of beautiful oak woodland - the ideal backdrop for relaxation or an action-packed break - you can see why. Visit once and you'll want to come back again and again.

It's not easy to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Finding the time and the place to 'get away from it all' is a challenge for each of us. This is where Hollands Wood steps in; to help you disconnect, step back and take a deep breath of fresh air - a spa for the mind and body.

Giant oak trees surround the pitches at Hollands Wood, sunlight pierces the canopy, and rich green hues colour the landscape as far as the eye can see. With the natural features of the land still in place, pitches weave through the treelines, amongst the ferns and into slightly more open land, giving plenty of camping options.

Stay at our Hollands Wood campsite and you’ll find out what peace and quiet really means. Surround yourself with boundary-less green space and relax in one of Hampshire’s, if not the UK’s, most serene places.

When you’re done resting take off into the forest surrounding the site. Go by bike or on foot and enjoy the 143 miles of track and paths running throughout the glorious woodlands.

Nearby villages include the beautiful Brockenhurst with its abundance of restaurants, pubs and shops. The expansive picnic site at Balmer Lawn, next to the Lymington River, is a popular choice for both visitors and residents, and has provided an idyllic setting for countryside lunches for many years.

With its friendly, welcoming atmosphere, Hollands Wood is perfect for all campers. It's the place to surround yourself with the incredible oaks and green space of the New Forest, the place to temporarily turn your back on the outside world – go on, book with us today!

Fabulous Campsite
/
Second time of staying. Absolutely wonderful campsite and staff brilliant. We had booked to stay elsewhere but we weren't as happy there- so decided to see if there was room at Hollands Wood. The staff 'bent over backwards' to help and sorted it all out for us. They really are so very welcoming!! As are the ponies!! Shower/toilet blocks very clean. Highly recommend - I would imagine very very popular in the summer school holidays. See you again soon and one again thank you!!!

Worth going here
/
The Staff here are very friendly and he campsite is very clean even though it is in the middle of the forest. Plenty of room for camping and relaxing. The ponies are also very friendly, make sure your food is kept in boxes when you are out of your tent

A great place to stay
/
We arrived with 4 campervans and hoped to be able to park them together for a family party, there was plenty of space amongst the trees without having to search . The facilities were just what we wanted for our first night, deliberately chosen without power hook ups and as basic as we could find. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Hollands Wood to anyone wanting an unspoilt environment to stay in.

Excellent
/
Love this campsite it's my 5th time back here and my family just love the laid back feel of the site, it has everything you could possibly need with clean warm showers / toilets. Animals roaming freely for the kids to enjoy. Excellent staff, really helpful and accommodating. Will be back again soon.

Loving The Forest
/
This has got to be the best 10 days on this site in our 25+ years of coming here. Yes it rained, 1 day flooded the awning and sons tent, but we soon dried out. This year we actually saw deer on site, that was brilliant, thought the horses and cows were entertaining at times too. We couldn't recommend the site more highly.

Nice campsite right in the forest
/
We had a great time at Holland's Wood, a relaxed site with basic but clean facilities, amongst the trees right in the forest. Ponies roam freely through the site though, so must keep food in the car at all times ! The kids loved the wildness of the site. Walking distance to Brockenhurst, and a cycle away from Lyndhurst. We will be back

Disappointing break
/
We stayed at Hollands Wood as we were led to believe it was a family campsite. However, the first night of our stay we were kept awake for most of the night by a group of very loud campers - drinking, shouting and generally being disrespectful to all other campers around them. There is no security checking the site and after such a bad night we decided to go home and not stay our second night - so disappointing as it is a beautiful location/ site and should have been a lovely family break.

Lovely peaceful campsite
/
I've camped here a couple of times and look forward to going back many times. The location is lovely and peaceful, right in the forest and close to the villages of Brockenhurst and Lyndhurst. The campsite and facilities are maintained to a good standard, the staff are friendly and helpful and we love the ponies and cows that come to visit!

Great weekend
/
We have been to this campsite before and it didn't fail to please us again. The clean, hot showers were not busy despite there being lots of people there and we didn't have to queue to wash up at all. There were quite a few crying babies but the campsite settled down nicely each night. We made sure we parked by the forest rather than the road which was much better.
