One of the best places i have been although it takes over 400 pitches there are plenty of places to have your own privacy, lovely to have the ponies ,Donkeys and Cows just wondering about and we were also lucky enough to see quite a few deer.Cant wait to visit again

Great one night stay!
/
We stayed just one night at this site. Just myself and 3 daughters. It was magically idyllic. Ponies and cows wandering by and giving us an inquisitive eye around the tent and car boot as we unpacked. We were able to walk straight in to the Forrest from the site without fences. The facilities were very good and clean, but were quite busy in the evening for washing up etc. The staff were polite, helpful and cheery. Hopefully not just because the sun was shining! Locally we visited the local river for a paddle to cool down. We visited local villages Burley, brockenhurst and Lyndhurst. All lovely places. Fantastic campsite and beautiful part of the country.

Camping in the New Forest :-)
/
We come to this campsite every year .. for many years, from when it only had a washing facilities (i.e. no showers). I think this year in particular the campsite has improved, in that some of the tired shower blocks are having a bit of a re-vamp and the staff were very nice and friendly - in previous years they have been more than a little stern and seem to forget that you are actually on 'holiday', not on a prison camp! The site itself is stunning, surrounded by trees, it is open but with plenty of little tree/bush areas to pitch next to. The ponies, donkeys and cows wander by and you must be careful not to leave food to temp them .. the wild birds are quite brave too, looking for scraps they come really close. Having always had a tent before, we found the ground very hard to hit pegs into and a bit uncomfortable, but in a camper van no problems :-) It is a peaceful (unlike Hollands Wood next to the main road) with good walks and cycling on site. Thoroughly recommended.

Spacious relaxing site

We loved Roundhill campsite, loads of spacious flat pitches. 3 shower / toilet blocks. A bit tired but clean with powerful hot showers. Probably get busy when the site is fulll. Lovely walks straight into the forest. Would definitely recommend and return.

Brilliant and beautiful campsite
/
We stayed in a tent from Friday to Sunday, we really couldn't fault the campsite, it is set in beautiful surroundings, plenty of space for you to set up, the staff were helpful, and polite. It was wonderful to wake up to horses surrounding the campsite. Would 100% go again and already planning to later this year

Excellent Family Site
/
Really pleased with campsite. Not regimented which we loved. Loads of space for the kids to play and roam free. Good mix of open pitches and those one the trees. Facilities good and regularly cleaned. Staff friendly and approachable. Kids have already asked when we can come back

Fantastic weekend with friends
/
Fab two nights with three other families. A beautiful site, 20 min bike ride from Brockenhurst. Kids loved roaming the site on their bikes. Animals do roam free but don't bother you - some gorgeous donkeys to admire. More showers would be nice as we had to queue. Maybe bigger ones for families too. All facilities were very clean though. My 10 year old daughter cried when we left so we will definitely return.
