!st time visit
/
Was the 1st time visiting sherwood pines and definatly wont be the last, found the staff at reception extremely helpful taking you to your pitch and telling you where all the facilities were. The toilet block/pot washing/ showers were all extremely clean and well looked after. the MH service point was easy to use along with elsan points. The bin area was well kept. WiFi was easy to access on a mobile phone not so easy on a smart TV but got round it. Even though it was january the weather was perfect and the walks around sherwood were perfect for all ages, sherwood pines is a well thought out place hightly recommended.

Fantastic stay

So glad we have discovered this site. Lovely peaceful location with all the amenities of the forest park on your doorstep. Facilities on the site were lovely and clean. The dog wash is an excellent idea and put to good use by our dog. Also noticed a great play area for children and a bike service point. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Site is quite sparse at the moment as it’s so new, will be lovely once the planting has grown. Will definitely be back.

Fab site

As a dog mum of three pups this is a fab site, plenty of trails for walking/biking. Great food at sherwood pines cafe Lovely facilities and friendly helpful staff This was our second visit the first being when the weather was a bit warmer. It snowed this time which the dogs loved! We will definitely be returning in the near future

Absolutely Brilliant!!
/
We spent Christmas and New Year at Sherwood Pines on our first visit to the site.. The staff were very welcoming and friendly providing a seamless and contactless check in before taking us to the pitch where we were provided with a description of all facilities available. The site and new facility block were kept immaculate throughout our 14 night stay. The toilets never closed with one side always open while the other was cleaned - even when the site filled up we never had to queue for a toilet or shower. The bin and laundry facilities were plentiful and again always clean. It's a great site with a lot of walking and biking to do from every direction off the site, and a visit to the Sherwood Pines Visitor centre which was also open throughout our stay was worthwhile with many attractions for all to enjoy. Loved it so much we have already booked for February 22.

Friendly, beautiful site

Stayed here for a short weekend away with the Wife in December. Really friendly welcome by the staff, escorted to the pitch & made to feel very welcome. Site is excellent, some real thought gone into the amenities block. If you have a dog that likes getting filthy running through the woods they’ve even got a dedicated dog wash room. Lovely and peaceful at night, the local owl lets you know they’re watching over you!! Absolutely loved our short break but will definitely be back again.

This site is truly wonderful! Excellent, spotless facilities the site is in the heart of the forest with wonderful walks and bike trails right on the doorstep. We stayed for NYE 4 nights and it was just perfect. The staff go over and beyond with keeping the site safe and spotless with smiles on their face, super friendly and helpful there really isn’t anything that’s too much trouble. It’s our second stay and definitely won’t be our last.

Amazing As Always
/
Love this campsite! Our favourite and now our local go-to as its only half an hour up the road from us! Everything is always so perfect and quiet, facilities always super clean and kept on top of and staff friendly as ever! Only downside was that we couldn't go in our usual spot in the grass pitches in the 'pod' as it was boggy yet where we were put was even worse so didn't make sense? Wish we knew about this before going as we have 2 dogs and are not dog friendly so need to have a spot where we are on our own and out the way as much as possible. Next time we come I'll ring and double check that area is open or if we can go on there at our own choice! Loved coming here for NYE (stayed 28th-2nd) and we will definitely be doing it again this Christmas! Couldn't recommend this place enough! This was our third stay here and we always never want to leave.
