Glenmore campsite offers everything you could wish for from a camping holiday – refreshment, relaxation and the outdoor lifestyle. The site offers a unique combination of landscapes and mountainous views with complete forest immersion. And did we mention the direct access to the beaches of Loch Morlich, what more could you want?

The Cairngorms National Park covers a beautiful 4,528km2. Its breath-taking backdrops are dominated by rolling mountains, whilst lochs, heathlands, forests and grassy expanses fill everything in-between, like a natural patchwork thousands of years in the making. Sitting like a pin-point within this incredible park is our Glenmore Campsite.

Tucked neatly between the thousands of ancient pine trees that populate Glenmore Forest Park, this campsite indulges in the Scottish highlands, but it's willing to share.

Enter the site and you’ll be immediately impressed with the surroundings. Dotted throughout the towering trees are open, well-kept sandy pitches. The rugged outdoor feel is still there though, with the option to go for pitches amongst the trees, and the highlands always in sight.

A very short walk through the treeline gives access to the sandy beaches of Loch Morlich, one of this campsite’s many appeals. From the water's edge enjoy the panoramic views of mountains, forests and waters.

The Cairngorms National Park is a magnet for outdoor and nature enthusiasts, and it’s not hard to see why. The area is abundant with wildlife. Deer, otters, ospreys and even golden eagles are often spotted. More than 280km of footpaths and trails criss-cross its diverse lands. There is canoeing and kayaking on Loch Morlich and, of course, many mountains provide a challenge across all seasons. Come winter time, take to the slopes on skis or a snowboard and experience some of the UK's finest runs.

Other attractions near our Glenmore Campsite include the Strathspey Steam Railway, Cairngorm Mountain Railway and the Cairngorm Mountain Centre.

Enjoy your next holiday at Glenmore. This magnificent area is something everyone should see, and our Glenmore campsite is where they should see it from.

This campsite is 300 metres above sea level, making it a popular destination for skiing in the winter months. Visitors should be prepared for cold conditions and be aware that part of the campsite closes during winter so availability may be more limited.

Please note: All grass with electric pitches for tents are on sand.

Lovely site

Loved this site, plenty to do around it, good walk into Aviemore, cracking views! Big, busy site but staff kept on top of facilities at all times. Excellent little independent bar and cafe with small shop, Pine Martin bar, just outside site. Only criticism is of fellow drivers and their inability to do 5mph when on site…most well above the speed limit… like to see them run that fast😂

Great location

Great location. Good facilities and friendly staff. Direct access to loch for water sports. Sadly the bar/shop next to the site was closed the day we visited so nowhere to enjoy a beverage.

We had a pitch for our tent with electric arrived at check in time so got a pick of pitches, the site is immaculate and staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of things to do in the area

Amazing jewel in the forest
/
We come back time and time again to glenmore Super tidy with friendly staff, toilets are checked constantly and are really clean- Loch morlich is stunning all year round and the beach area marvellous lots kayaking camping and for the very brave a swim in the clear water - there is lots trails from the Loch side and beyond short white yellow and red all looping back to campsite - there is no wifi and mobile signal is not good on campsite but if your really desperate sit on one of the benches on the trail or sit by the Loch - you will get good signal - great time to unwind on the site without people glued to mobiles - still to spot a red squirrel but did see a deer -

Fantastic site and wonderful holiday!

Absolutely loved staying here. Pitched a very short walk from beach and lake, we kayaked and Supd most days. Morning walkies with the dog was on the beach. Miles and Miles of cycling paths and numerous mountain walks. Lovely little ski bar and food next door and saw a red squirrel! Thank you for a great time.

Well, what an amazing part of the world. Beautiful, tranquil site close to lake and aviemore, cairngorm mountains. Everything on your doorstep including the fabulous Pine Marten bar adjacent. The one thing that totally ruined our stay was the rude greeting we had from the person checking us in at reception. If I had the same demeanour with my clients I would never make a penny. For this reason alone I would never return as long as she is in employ. Shame she totally dragged down my score. I hope she reads this and considers her approach in the future.

Amazing
/
It was our first time in a motor home and we are total novices. From the first hello at reception to leaving the staff were helpful and friendly. The guy who took us to our spot, a very amiable Yorkshireman, found us a fabulous spot in the forestry area. Downside was the water connection was far to far away for our hose, but hey ho! That’s camping!! The washing and toilet blocks were pretty clean and are thoroughly cleaned twice daily. A mop and squeegee are also available, just a shame that visitors do not see the need to quickly mop and squeegee after they have used the shower facilities! You cannot blame the site for peoples poor manners and standards. The site itself is stunning. The loch, the forestry, the views are just stunning. The site is clean. It is just an amazing part of our country that has left a wonderful imprint on my memory.
Unit Type: RV Motorhome
Brilliant setting with lots to do. Check in and shown to our site was a doddle.

Kids loved the walks and wide open space to explore. Loch Morlich only a 5 minute walk from our MH. Ticked all the boxes. Would definitely return!

Excellent

We have stayed at this site before and would return. It is well kept, clean and tidy and in a wonderful setting by Loch Morlich. We enjoyed the walks from site and also the walk at Lochan Eileen just a short distance away. Plenty to do in the area. Be aware of poor internet connection.
