Home to one of the most popular mountains in the UK – Snowdon – Snowdonia spoils walkers and cyclists with paths spanning beaches, forests, mountains and moors. Take a look at our walking and cycling section, don your best boots and set off for your most memorable trip yet.

Our Beddgelert campsite sits less than 30 miles from the beach at Shell Island and around 35 miles from Barmouth beach. Closer to the tent there are miles of routes for walking and cycling encompassing the glorious Beddgelert Forest and, less than 15 miles away, the impressive Snowdon.

Step back in time and take the narrow gauge steam train directly from the campsite’s station, exploring the stunning Snowdonia scenery in vintage style. Running between Caernarfon and Porthmadog, this award winning railway is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy some of Snowdonia’s greatest scenery.

If that’s whet your appetite, take a look below at our more expansive list of things to do in Snowdonia, but make sure to leave time to enjoy the stunning surroundings at Beddgelert.
